In the midst of this awful heat, we really need a few refreshing and thirst quenching recipes in our back pocket when water just doesn’t do the trick.
A Mint & Lemon Mocktail fits the bill with both mint and lemon as its two main ingredients. Imagine a tall glass of this cold drink on a hot, humid day. The fizzy bubbles are fun, the lemon flavor sings in the background while the mint awakens your system with its sweetness and cools it down. It’s the king of drinks!
Mint & Lemon Mocktail
Not only is this great to beat the heat, but this Mint & Lemon Mocktail is great for helping with digestion after heavy meals.
Every huge dinner party at my mom’s has this delicious, refreshing drink on the table. It’s a party favorite!
Made up with the simplest of ingredients, this Mint & Lemon Mocktail can be put together with your eyes closed!
7up, mint & lemon. That’s it.
It’s so simple, you don’t even need a recipe when making a large batch.
I usually just dump the 7up into the blender and add a handful of mint and half a lemon and adjust from there.
It’s fairly simple, not a lot of room to mess this up.
This is the only fizzy drink I actually have. Otherwise, I am no fan of sodas, sparkling water or even the sweet/salty lemon sodas that are so popular in India. If I’m having lemonade, it’s gotta be straight!
So if a non-soda lover is recommending this, then know that it is goooood!

- 600 ml 7up cold
- 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
To a blender, add the 7Up, mint leaves and freshly squeezed lemon juice and blend until combined.
Pour into an airtight bottle and refrigerate until needed.
- It's best to serve this drink as soon as possible
- Needs to be kept in an airtight bottle/jug so it doesn't lose its fizziness.
