There’s absolutely nothing, nothing, like curling up with a blanket/throw in front of a good chick flick with a cup of thick and creamy hot cocoa.
My youngest sister and I have spent most of our lives on chocolate milk. Totally serious! And mostly just those small chocolate milk packs from one particular brand. Dad still brings boxes of the stuff whenever he flies down to India. I’ve pretty much given it up but sometimes, when craving something cozy and familiar, I sneak a box in or two.
I’ve had plenty of hot chocolates, from plenty of different places, but one of the most decadent was in a French café after I got married. One of my husband’s favorite, surprisingly, as he rarely prefers something so rich.
I’m not a whipped cream on drinks fan, something I might have mentioned earlier, so marshmallows were the perfect topping for me! You could even add a little peppermint extract to the whipped cream and enjoy a Peppermint Mocha Hot Chocolate!
This Mocha Hot Chocolate is a dessert on its own. It’s thick and creamy with melt-in-your mouth marshmallows and a depth of chocolate flavor from the little coffee sneaked in. Smooth and silky, this Mocha Hot Chocolate is perfect by a warm fire, a good flick and your favorite someone to cuddle with!
